Spacing, Seed: 1 inch
Spacing, Plant: 6-8 inches
Plant Height: 4-6 inches
Light: Full Sun
SOWING: Sow seeds directly in a sunny location after all danger of frost has passed. Lightly rake seed into soil and moisten. For earlier flowers, start seeds indoors 3-6 weeks before last frost. A simpler way to plant seed outdoors is to imply broadcast seed. Do not cover with any soil or medium. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
SPACING & TRANSPLANTING: Young seedling plants should be spaced 6 to 8 inches apart.
SUGGESTIONS: Watering seed with warm water until first sprouts appear is best but not absolutely necessary. Lightly shear back dead flowers after bloom to prolong flowering season and to prevent legginess. Although an annual, Alyssum will often reseed itself. Grows best in full sun but also grows well in light shade. Easy to grow from seed.
