SOWING: Seeds can be started indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last spring frost. Or direct-sow seeds outside after all danger of frost has passed to a depth of 1/8 inch. Grows in moderate to dry  soil.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are 2 to 3 inches high, thin to 12-16 inches apart. Replant thinned plants.

GERMINATION: 5-10 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

SUGGESTIONS: For earliest bloom, start in a sunny window 6 to 8 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Keep plants moderately moist.

Annual (One season plant). Single to double bright yellow flowers. Flowers are about 1.5 inches wide. A bushy, pale grayish green, and densely branching plant. The flowers and foliage are edible. Great for borders and cutting. Also known as Crown Daisy.
