SOWING: Seeds can be started outdoors 2 to 4 weeks before last spring frost, or in the Fall in warm climates.  Sow directly in soil 1/8 inch deep and cover with fine soil. Do not start indoors, does not transplant well.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When 1-2 inches, thin to 8 inches apart. Do not transplant.

GERMINATION: 10-15 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

SUGGESTIONS: Once established, this plant requires a minimal amount of water. Fertilize monthly. Plant in rich, well drained soil.

Annual (One season plant). A hardy annual that has charming 1.5 inch flowers in shades of blue, mauve, white, pink, and purple. The foliage is threadlike in appearance. Plant in containers, flower gardens, roadsides, and meadows. Grow this flower with Bells of Ireland and Baby Blue Eyes. Blooms quickly and will reseed. Drought tolerant.
