SOWING: Direct-sow seeds outside after all danger of frost has passed to a depth of 1/16 inch. Can be sown in the Fall in mild winter climates.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are 2 to 3 inches high, thin to 8-10 inches apart. Replant thinned plants.

GERMINATION: 5-10 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

GROWING TIPS: This plant grows best in a sunny spot in cool climate. Water only when dry until the flowers appear. Cut back the plants halfway after the flowering period for possibly more blooms.

Annual (One season plant ). A pretty, prolific flowering plant. The 1 to 2 inch double flowers are lavender and pink. Can be used as an annual flowering hedge, in the back of flower gardens, or in a large container. Makes a great long lasting cut flower. Easy to grow. Tolerates sandy or clay soil. Can also tolerate seaside conditions.
