SOWING: Start seeds indoors 3 weeks before last frost. Or plant outdoors in well-drained soil in early spring, after all danger of frost,  when soil is  70F. Cover seeds with 1/8 inch of soil.

GERMINATION: 8 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: Transplant when young seedlings are about 2 inches high and after all danger of frost has passed. Space 10 inches apart.

SUGGESTIONS: Keep soil moderately moist during germination and water heavily during the dry months. Flowers around 10 to 12 weeks after transplanting.
