SOWING: Seeds can be started indoors 3 to 4 weeks before last spring frost. Or direct-sow seeds outside to a depth of 1/2 inch. Can be sown as late as 100 days before last spring frost.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are 2 to 3 inches high, thin to 24 inches apart. Replant thinned plants.

GERMINATION: 7-21 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

GROWING TIPS: Overhead watering is not recommended. Harvest almost completely opened flowers in early morning or late afternoon.

ANNUAL (One Season Plant).   A tall Sunflower producing bright yellow flowers.  The flowers bloom on a stout, hairy stem. The leaves are grayish- green which are often folded and curving downward.  Easy to grow and withstands heat  and poor soil. Excellent for the back of  flower gardens and anywhere you want to add bright yellow color..
