SOWING: Sow directly in soil after all danger of frost has passed to a depth of 1/16 of an inch and cover with fine soil.  Can also be planted in the summer months for blooms the following year.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When 2-3 inches, thin to 18 to 24 inches apart.

GERMINATION: 14-21 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

SUGGESTIONS: Keep soil moderately moist during germination. This plant likes fairly moist soil.  Feed during the Spring. Cut established plants back after blooming.

Perennial ( permanent plant.)  A  hardy old-time favorite.  Double flowers in shades of  pink, scarlet, yellow, and white. The fluffy, 4 inch flowers grow on tall 5 ft. stalks.  Plant these  pretty flowers in the back of  flower gardens, walls, or fences.  Makes a great cut flower.  Easy to grow.
