PREPARE: Choose a sunny location. Loosen well-drained soil with a rake or hoe.
PLANT: For easier planting, mix seeds with a cup of sand or vermiculite and spread over the garden area. Lightly rake seed into the soil and cover with 1/8 inches of soil, peat moss or fine sand. Keep moist until seeds germinate 10-15 days later.
SUGGESTIONS: In mild climates, seeds can be planted in fall.
