SOWING: Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. Or plant outdoors in well-drained soil in early spring, after all danger of frost,  when soil is  65-68F. Cover seeds with 1/8 inch of soil.

The plant has five leaflets. Returns each spring from same roots, forming expanding clumps. Excellent for gardens, roadsides, meadows, and containers. Adaptable to a variety of soil conditions. Can be mowed and will bloom at lawn level.
