SOWING: Seeds can be started indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last spring frost. Or surface-sow seeds outside after all danger of frost has passed. Grows in moderate to dry soil.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are 2 to 3 inches high, thin to 18-24 inches apart. Replant thinned plants.

GERMINATION: 7-14 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

GROWING TIPS: For earliest bloom, start in a sunny window 6 to 8 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Keep plants moderately moist during germination. Divide plants every 4 years for healthy plants and plenty of blooms.

This yarrow is taller and can grow all over the United States. Grow in the back of flower gardens or in mixtures with tall grasses. Great for drying and cutting. This plant can tolerate heat and humidity. Drought tolerant.
