To speed germination, soak seed in warm water for 24 hours before planting.  (Can be grown  indoors or outdoors. )

THINNING: Thin to 6 inches apart when seedlings are 2 inches high. Does not transplant well.

Harvest: Harvest leaves continually during the growing season to encourage new growth.  Harvest larger sprigs off plants as they mature.  To dry, harvest before flowering, dry leaves in a cool dry place. Store in airtight containers.  (Plants are quite cold hardy and can usually be harvested into the winter.)
