SOWING: Sow seed directly outdoors in the spring in a sunny location with well-drained soil of moderate fertility, after danger of serious frost has passed. For earlier harvest start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before you anticipate setting the plants outside.

THINNING: Thin plants to 8-12 inches apart when 2-3 inches tall.

SUGGESTIONS:  Keep moderately moist during germination.  Cut sprigs off the tops of plants for use throughout the season. Cut back the whole plant at time of blooming and hang upside down in a shady well-ventilated spot for later dried use.
