SOWING: Seed directly outdoors in full sun, in spring or fall, when temperatures are cool. Sow seeds 2 inches apart in rows that are at least 24 inches, but preferably 30 inches, apart. Cover with 1 inch of fine soil packed down.
THINNING: When plants are 1 inch tall, thin to 1 plant every 2 inches.
SUGGESTIONS: Harvest as soon as pods are filled out. Pods should be eaten young and rather immature. Sow for fall crop in mid to late Summer to early Fall. For best cooking results stir-fry or steam for about a minute.
