SOWING:  Seed directly in the garden in a sunny location   after all danger of frost. Sow 3-6  seeds, 1/4 inch deep . Space  rows approximately 2-2 1/2  ft apart. Seed may be started indoors 5-6 weeks prior to planting outdoors.

GERMINATION:  8-18 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

THINNING & TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are  2  inches high,  thin/transplant to  2 to 2  1/2 feet apart. Replant thinned plants.

SUGGESTIONS:  Tomatoes thrive in a sunny, warm location. For earlyfruiting and to overcome a short growing season, seedlings may be startedindoors.  To keep the tomatoes clean and disease-free, as well as keeping unwanted weeds away, apply 1-3 inches of mulch as the plant begins to vine.
