SOWING: Directly sow seeds outdoors after all danger of frost to a depth of 1 inch. Plant in blocks of at least 4 rows for proper pollination.

GERMINATION: 7-14, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

THINNNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When seeds are 3-4 inches, thin to 6-7 inches apart.

HARVEST: When kernels are full and ‘milky  generally indicated by a drying and browning of the ear silks.

Suggestions: Plant away from wooded areas. Successive plantings can be made through early summer.
