THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: Set plants 2 apart in rows 3 feet apart in a sunny location after danger of frost and cold weather. Set root ball 1/2" below soil level.
HARVEST when fruits have reached full-size, golden orange or red. Dark red fruits are fully ripened.
SUGGESTIONS: Keep plants moist during germination. Peppers can not tolerate frost. Feed lightly every 4 weeks.
PEPPER, HOT
Habanero Gold
Capsicum annuum
85 to 95 days. If you are looking for a blistering hot pepper you have found it. This incredibly hot pepper is 40 times hotter than a Jalapeno. The small 1-inch long and 1 ½ inch wide pepper is wrinkled and thin-walled. It is acorn shaped and tapered at the end and grows on 36-inch high plants. You must use gloves when cutting and handling. Great for any recipe containing hot peppers especially Indian and Jamaican dishes. Does best in warm southern climates. Harvest in 85 to 95 days.
