SOWING:  Radish is hardy and can be planted as soon as the soil can be worked or anytime between March and September. Seed directly in the garden and cover seed lightly with about 1/4 inch of fine soil.

GERMINATION: 7-10 days, depending upon soil and weather conditions.

THINNING And TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are established, thin/transplant to 1 ½ inches apart. Replant thinned plants.

HARVEST: When plants have formed globe roots and while they are young and tender.

SUGGESTIONS: Sow every 2-3 weeks for a continuous supply. Grow best in cooler weather. Prefer a rich soil and kept fairly moist. Do not let dry out.
